Engineering has become dramatically faster over the past 20 years. Analyses that once took days now finish in hours, and AI proposes design alternatives faster than people can. Yet what to calculate, how to interpret the results, and who is accountable for that judgment are still human decisions.
DINETT actively embraces automation, but uses it not as a tool that replaces engineers’ judgment, but as one that broadens it. We use technology to review more alternatives and ask deeper questions.
And at the end of every project are people: those who will live in the building, cross the bridge, or work in the plant. Every calculation DINETT makes is ultimately for their safety and quality of life.

No passing the buck at discipline boundaries
When problems arise at the boundaries between analysis and measurement, or structure and ground, we resolve them in-house. That is not the client’s job to coordinate.

As the group’s parent company, DINETT runs six engineering disciplines as one. It oversees projects, sets technical standards, manages quality, and handles external contracts and liability, serving as the single point of contact for clients.
SUBSIDIARY
R&D Partner
A subsidiary of DINETT, R&D Partner operates analysis resources and a validation database for engineering simulation. It supplies analysis capacity to group projects, with quality managed under DINETT’s technical standards.
Clients contract with DINETT, and all personnel and equipment needed across every discipline are deployed from within the group. There is no need for separate contracts by discipline or for coordinating multiple vendors.
